After School Program
The Renzi Education and Art Center provides FREE, high-quality after-school academic and art classes and summer camp to K-12 youth in the Shreveport-Bossier area, so that all children have the opportunity to explore, learn, and create, under the guidance of professional teachers and artists.

When is the Renzi Center in session?
The four 7-week sessions of our after-school programs are based around the school calendar provided by the Caddo parish school board. We do not provide programming during breaks between sessions.
The program is closed during all Caddo school holidays - when schools are closed, we are closed.
When do classes take place?
Classes take place Monday through Thursday from 4 PM to 5:45 PM. Between 3 PM and 4 PM, students are provided a healthy snack, can do homework, or enjoy supervised play.
How are classes structured?
Enrolled students take two 25-minute academic classes and two 25-minute art classes each day they are enrolled. Classes occur weekly, and we offer different classes each day.
When can I enroll my child?
Enrollment is open to new students throughout the school year!
Students must be enrolled at least two days a week of our four-day program.
First-time participants who enroll full-time (Monday - Thursday) will be given first priority.
Who is eligible for the FREE After School Program?
Enrollment is open to ALL K-12 youth across Shreveport-Bossier City with priority given to those in the Highland-Stoner hill area.
Students must be in grades K-12 to enroll in our after school program. We do not enroll Pre-K students in our program, and kindergarten aged children are enrolled on a trial basis.
Do you provide transportation?
We do not provide transportation to or from our program at this time. Parents/guardian must arrange drop off and pick-up of student to and from our center.
